- If the product has multiple identifiers, select the identifier to print.
- Choose a printer, or set a default barcode label printer.

Print barcode labels for multiple products in a single batch. Follow these steps:
- From the left sidebar, go to Catalog › Products.
- In the upper-left corner, click the Labels icon, and select Print Barcode Labels.
- Select the products to include in your print batch.
- Select the product identifier to print.
- Select the printer type.
- Select the label separator.
- Specify the number of copies to print for each product.
- Verify that enough labels are loaded in the printer feed. The number needed is displayed in the lower-right corner.
- Click Print to generate and print the labels.
Choose which products to include in your printing batch. Add products in one of three ways:
- Manual Entry - To print barcodes for a few products, enter the item numbers directly on the modal.
- Pre-Select - To print barcodes for many products, use filters on the Products page to narrow your list of results. Select the desired products, and go to Actions › Print Product Labels.
- File Upload - Use a file to specify which products and identifiers to print.
You can combine methods. For example, pre-select products on the page, then manually add or remove products in the modal to fine-tune the product list.
Products can have multiple identifiers, such as a UPC, EAN, and ASIN. Additionally, identifiers can be associated with different units of measure. For each product, select which identifier you want to print.
Use the Identifier Type selector in the top row to apply the same identifier type to all products. For example, select UPC to print the UPC code for every product.
Keep in mind the following:
- If a product has multiple UPCs, the first one will print.
- To specify a particular unit of measure, use the file upload option.
- If a product does not have a UPC, the item number will print instead.
- Once you manually select an identifier for a product, it will not be overridden by changes to the top selector.
- Rows with an identifier type that differs from the top selector are highlighted in yellow.
Upload a CSV file to specify which products to include in your print batch and which product identifiers to print. Follow these steps:
- From the left sidebar, go to Catalog › Products.
- In the upper-left corner, click the Labels icon, and select Print Barcode Labels.
- In the Print Barcode Labels modal, click the Upload icon at the bottom and select Load from File.
- Click to Download a Sample CSV Template.
The sample file below requests to print two copies of the identifier associated with the unit of measure for a dozen.
| Item Number | Copies | Unit of Measure Quantity | Unit of Measure Abbreviation |
|---|
| SKU-12345 | 2 | 12 | DZ |
Choose the printer type you use:
- Singles on Roll - Prints on a continuous roll of small, single labels. Select this option for thermal printers such as Zebra.
- 30 Per Sheet - Prints on label sheets of 3 columns by 10 rows per page. Select this option for standard desktop printers.
The Singles on Roll design is customizable, while the 30 Per Sheet design is not editable.
The standard barcode label measures 2" x 1" and includes the following elements, all printed in 9pt:
- Item Number
- Prodcut Name
- Code-128 barcode
- Identifier text
You can customize the label design to fit your printer and business needs.

When printing barcode labels for multiple different products, you need a visual break to show where the labels for one product end and those of the next product begin. Choose a separator option based on your printer type:
- Singles on Roll - Inserts one or two blank labels between products.
- 30 Per Sheet - Inserts a separator label between products, or start the next product on a new sheet.
If you’re printing labels for only a few products and want to avoid wasting labels, select None to disable the label separator.
If you need to send barcode labels to a remote warehouse for labeling, you can download labels as PDF instead of printing them.
- Follow the same steps as when printing labels, up to the final step.
- At the bottom of the Print Barcode Labels modal, click the Download icon.
- Select Download as PDF.
The file will be saved to your device, ready to share or print elsewhere.
