Creating and Managing a TikTok Store

TikTok, with its immense popularity and engaging format, has emerged as a vibrant platform for social commerce, allowing sellers to connect directly with a global audience through creative content. Integrating Goflow with TikTok Shop empowers you to harness the platform's dynamic environment for e-commerce, blending social media engagement with efficient business management.

Connecting a TikTok Store

To connect a TikTok store, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to DirectoryStores.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, click on New Store.
  3. Search for and select TikTok.
  4. For more information on general store settings, see Creating a New Self-Service Store.
  5. Click Save to create the store.

The store will initially be in a Disconnected status. To connect the store, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to DirectoryStores, and select the TikTok store.
  2. Scroll down to the Connection card, and click Authorize.
  3. Log in to TikTok with a username that has admin permissions.
  4. Grant the requested permissions, and return to the Goflow store.

Managing TikTok Merchant Orders

TikTok does not support multi-quantity lines; each quantity is listed on its own line.

TikTok allows you to split multi-line orders, and fulfill orders from different warehouses, or cancel some order lines. However, when canceling part of an order, you must select out of stock as the cancellation reason. Using any other reason will result in TikTok rejecting the cancellation.

Managing Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) Orders

Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) orders are processed directly by TikTok, and require no action within Goflow. Importing FBT orders allows for inventory balancing, reporting, and analytics.

To enable FBT order import, follow these steps:

  1. In the left sidebar, navigate to DirectoryStores, and open your TikTok store.
  2. Locate the FBT Orders Import setting in the Status card.
  3. Click the pencil icon to edit, and set the setting to Enabled.
  4. Specify the starting date for importing FBT orders. You can go back up to the first day of the current month.
  5. Click the Create FBT Warehouse link. FBT orders will get assigned to this special FBT warehouse type.
  6. Name the warehouse and click Save.
  7. Finally, return to the TikTok store page and Save the FBT order import settings.

FBT orders are imported in the Shipped status, provided that all listings are mapped. Orders containing unmapped listings will remain in review until all listings are mapped. To view FBT orders in Goflow, use the Fulfilled By: Store filter on the main orders page.

TikTok does not provide complete customer name and address details for FBT orders. To create a return for an FBT order, you will need to obtain shipping details directly from the customer.
