Understanding Order Sources
The order source indicates how an order was created. In Goflow, orders can originate from one of four sources:
- Channel - Orders automatically imported from a connected sales channel.
- Upload - Orders imported with a CSV file.
- Manual - Orders manually entered in Goflow.
- API - Orders created through the Goflow API.
Channel orders fall into two fulfillment categories:
- Merchant - Orders that require fulfillment by your team.
- Store - Orders shipped directly by the channel. These do not require fulfillment in Goflow but are imported for inventory balancing, reporting, and analytics.
Examples of store-fulfilled orders include:
- Amazon FBA
- Walmart WFS
- Bed Bath & Beyond SOFS
- Wayfair CastleGate
- Shopify Point of Sale (POS)
- Shopify Buy with Prime (BWP)
Follow these steps to filter orders by source and fulfillment type:
- From the left sidebar, go to Orders › Orders.
- At the top of the page, click Filters.
- Set the Source filter
- Set Fulfilled-By to either Merchant or Store.
