Changing Order Warehouses

Automatic warehouse assignment sets the order warehouse at the time of import based on inventory availability and proximity rules. If inventory levels change afterward, you’ll need to change the order warehouse manually.

Changing Warehouse for a Single Order

You can change the warehouse for open orders that haven’t started processing yet. If the order is on a pick list, you’ll need to remove it first.

To change the warehouse of an order, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Orders › Orders, and open the order.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the warehouse name.
  3. Select a new warehouse, and click Save.

Use Manage Fulfillment to change the warehouse for only some order lines.

Changing Warehouse for Multiple Orders in Bulk

To change the warehouse of multiple orders at once, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to OrdersOrders.
  2. Apply Filters to narrow down the orders you want to update.
  3. Select specific orders, or click Select All to include all orders in the filtered view.
  4. At the top of the page, click Actions, and select Change Warehouse.
  5. If you selected more than 100 orders, confirm by entering the total number of selected orders.
  6. Select a new warehouse, and click Save.
