Channel Order Imports

Orders in Goflow originate from one of four sources:

Channel orders fall into two fulfillment categories:

Follow these steps to filter for channel orders:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Orders › Orders.
  2. At the top of the page, click Filters.
  3. Set the Source filter to Channel.
  4. Set Fulfilled-By to either Merchant or Store.

Enabling Channel Order Imports

Enabling order imports allows Goflow to automatically pull orders from the connected sales channel. Imports run at regular intervals every few minutes.

Merchant-Fulfilled Orders

To enable import of merchant-fulfilled orders, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Directory › Stores, and open the store.
  2. On the Status card, find the Orders Import setting and click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Set Orders Import to Enabled.
  4. Choose a Start Date. You can import orders placed within the last 30 days.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Orders are routed to the store fulfillment warehouses and assigned a shipping method according to the store shipping policies.

Goflow imports only unfulfilled orders.

Store-Fulfilled Orders

Store-fulfilled orders are imported to a dedicated store warehouse, so you can manage store inventory separately from your own warehouses. Store warehouses allow for inventory adjustments and transfers, but cannot be used for fulfilling merchant orders.

To enable import of store-fulfilled orders, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Directory › Stores, and open the store.
  2. On the Status card, find the Store Orders Import setting and click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Set Orders Import to Enabled.
  4. Create a store warehouse, if you don’t already have one:
    1. Click Create Store Warehouse.
    2. Enter a name for the warehouse and click Save.
    3. After saving the warehouse, return to the store to complete the import setup.
  5. Choose a Start Date. You can import orders from the beginning of the current month.
  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

To avoid unexpected overage charges, make sure your Goflow subscription plan comfortably covers the anticipated volume of store-fulfilled orders.

The order status of store-fulfilled orders reflects their current processing state:

Reimporting Orders

You can manually reimport an order from the channel to refresh it with the latest information. Reimporting is useful in the following scenarios:

Orders can only be reimported if they are still unfulfilled by the channel and have not yet been shipped in Goflow. Remove the order from the pick list before reimporting.

To reimport an order, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Orders › Orders, and open the order.
  2. In the upper-right corner, click the three-dot menu and select Reimport Order.

EDI channels don't support reimporting orders.
