Goflow integrates with Amazon Buy Shipping to help you shop rates, purchase shipping labels from Amazon, and track shipments for your Amazon Marketplace orders.
Amazon Buy Shipping is available in the U.S. and the U.K.
Follow these two steps to start purchasing labels through Amazon:
Add a Shipping Account
This step creates a local Buy Shipping account in Goflow. No shipment or store data is shared with Amazon at this point.
If you have multiple Amazon Marketplace stores, you only need to complete this step once. The account will be available for all stores.
Assign the Shipping Account to the Store
Rates will only be displayed for carriers whose terms and conditions you’ve accepted.
Repeat this step for each Amazon Marketplace store separately.
Configure your settings to ensure you get the best rates and the correct shipping methods from Amazon.
In your Amazon Marketplace store settings, you can configure the ship-from and return addresses used for small parcel shipping labels.
If you generally use the warehouse address but want to specify a different ship-from address when purchasing labels from Amazon, check the Override for Amazon Buy Shipping box and enter the alternate ship-from address.
Goflow pulls shipping rates directly from Amazon for all eligible carriers and methods available for an order. The rates returned depend on your Buy Shipping settings in Amazon Seller Central. You may get one of the following rate types:
Amazon Rates – If you haven’t connected your own carrier accounts, you’ll use Amazon’s negotiated rates.
Your Rates – If you’ve connected your own small parcel carrier accounts to Amazon, you can take advantage of your negotiated rates.
Multi-Location Rates – If you have Multi-Location Inventory (MLI) enabled, you can assign different carrier accounts to each Amazon location. Amazon will return rates from the account associated with the ship-from location.
For Amazon to correctly match a shipping location, the order's ship-from address must match the address of the corresponding Amazon location in Seller Central. All address fields must match exactly and are case-sensitive.
You can configure your shipping policies in Goflow to assign orders to the Amazon Buy Shipping carrier with the shipping method set to Unknown. When you're ready to pack and ship, simply select the best shipping method returned from Amazon for each order.
When using Bulk Ship from a pick list, you can either apply the same shipping method to all selected orders or leave it as default. In the default setting, Goflow will automatically choose the cheapest shipping method returned by Amazon for each order.
If rate shopping is enabled for Amazon Buy Shipping, Goflow will preselect the best shipping method, including the available Amazon rates.
Orders shipped through Amazon do not require a separate shipment notification. Amazon already receives all shipment details, including tracking numbers, when the label is purchased.
