Creating and Managing a Target Plus Store

Target Plus is an invite-only marketplace where approved sellers list and fulfill products through Target’s curated platform.

Getting Approved to Sell on Target Plus

Target Plus does not support open registration. Sellers must apply directly to Target and wait for approval. To request consideration, complete the Target Plus application form.

Target reviews applications independently and will contact you when a decision is made. After you receive access to the Target Plus Partner Portal, you can connect your store in Goflow.

Connecting a Target Plus Store to Goflow

Connect your Target Plus store to Goflow by following these steps:

  1. Follow the general steps for adding a store.
  2. From the list of available stores, select Target Plus.
  3. Enter the SMS ID and Token. Click the Where do I get these? link for detailed instructions on how to locate your credentials in the Target Partner Portal.
  4. Click Save to complete the connection.

After connecting the store, configure store settings to enable full synchronization with Target and unlock key Goflow features.

Managing Target Warehouse Codes

You can maintain multiple fulfillment points with Target to more accurately manage inventory and improve delivery speed across the continental United States.

When you connect a new Target Plus store, Goflow automatically imports all warehouse codes. If new codes are added later, open the Target store in Goflow and click Refresh Store Warehouse Codes to sync them.

Target warehouse codes are used for three distinct purposes:

Mapping Warehouse Codes

Map each Target warehouse code to its corresponding warehouse in Goflow. Follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Directory › Stores, and open your Target Plus store.
  2. On the Shipment Warehouses card, click the pencil icon to Edit.
  3. Click the plus (+) icon to add a new warehouse mapping.
  4. For each Target warehouse code, select the matching Goflow warehouse.
  5. Click Save to apply your mappings.

Enabling Code Based Fulfillment

By default, you may choose any warehouse to fulfill Target orders based on proximity, inventory availability, or other preferences.

If you want Goflow to automatically assign the warehouse recommended by Target, code–based fulfillment. Follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Directory › Stores, and open your Target Plus store.
  2. On the Store Warehouse Codes card, click the pencil icon next to Used For.
  3. Check Fulfillment Warehouses.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Confirm that you want to remove your existing warehouse fulfillment settings and switch to Target assigned warehouse.

To disable code–based fulfillment and return to proximity-based fulfillment, follow the same steps and uncheck Fulfillment Warehouses.

Importing Target Plus Returns

Goflow allows you to automatically import returns from Target Plus. To enable returns import, follow these steps:

  1. In the Target Plus store, find the Returns Import setting on the Status card.
  2. Click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Update the setting to Enabled.
  4. Select the warehouse where the returns should be imported, and click Save.

A return is cross-linked to its order. To view the original order within a return, scroll down to the Orders card. To view returns within an order, scroll down to the Related Transactions card. In the case of split orders, the return is associated with the order half containing the returned products.

Unlike orders, returns do not contain store listings; they only include the Goflow products that were fulfilled. Similarly, returns do not display units of measure; instead, they show the total number of fulfilled units.

Target Plus returns are initially imported in an Open status. When the returned items are arrive, proceed with processing the return. To receive a return, follow these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar, go to ReturnsReturns.
  2. Search using either the return RMA number or the original order number, then click to open the return.
  3. On the Activity card, click Receive.
  4. Ensure that the correct warehouse is selected.
  5. Click the green plus sign to select the received quantity.
  6. If the returned items are not suitable to be restocked:
    1. Enter the quantity to Discard.
    2. Select a discard reason.
  7. Click Save to complete the return receipt.
