How Fine Fixtures Simplified Marketplace Management and Made Target Easier to Manage with Goflow
Seller Spotlight
Background
Fine Fixtures has been selling bathroom fixtures since 2005, building a presence across some of the biggest marketplaces and retailers in ecommerce.
Today, the company sells through Home Depot, Walmart, Wayfair, Amazon Vendor Central, Houzz, Target, Lowe’s, and Overstock, with a team of approximately 35 people.
But managing that many channels without a centralized system created a growing amount of repetitive work.
Before Goflow, even small changes had to be made separately on every channel. Updating listings, managing new products, and keeping each marketplace organized meant repeating the same work again and again.
As Fine Fixtures continued expanding its marketplace presence, that approach became increasingly difficult to manage.
The Challenge
For Fine Fixtures, one of the biggest operational problems was the amount of manual work involved in managing multiple sales channels.
As the team explained, “Every small thing I had to change, I had to do it on each channel separately.”
There was no centralized tool or system in place to manage those changes. The team was effectively managing its marketplace operations without dedicated tools, making even routine updates more time-consuming than they needed to be.
Target was particularly challenging.
Managing everything on Target felt like the hardest part of the day-to-day operation, and integrating with the channel had been a hassle.
The problem wasn’t simply having another marketplace to sell on. Every additional channel meant another place to manage listings and product information, adding more work to an already complex process.
Fine Fixtures needed a way to reduce that workload while making it easier to manage listings across all of its channels.
Why Goflow?
Fine Fixtures was looking for more than just another piece of software. Customer service was an important part of the decision.
The team wanted to know that if they ran into an issue or didn’t understand how something worked, they would have someone they could ask.
“Customer service” was the most important factor for Fine Fixtures when choosing a new system, alongside inventory visibility, automation, accuracy, speed, control, and cost.
Goflow provided the centralized marketplace management the team was looking for, along with the support they needed to get their operations set up and running.
The Solution
Fine Fixtures started by bringing Target into Goflow.
The implementation was quick. The team was up and running in less than a week, and the transition was well received internally.
“They are all very happy,” the team says of the response from their employees.
With Goflow, Fine Fixtures can now manage its listings and Target operations from a centralized platform instead of handling every marketplace separately.
One of the biggest improvements has been the ability to set up listings once and export them across channels.
Fine Fixtures now has its listings organized in Goflow and can use a single export to distribute them across its sales channels. Target, which had previously been a hassle to integrate and manage, is now set up in a way that makes it much easier to work with.
Results
Goflow has reduced the amount of repetitive marketplace work Fine Fixtures has to deal with day to day.
Easier listing management
Fine Fixtures no longer has to worry about how new listings and products will be added to every individual channel.
Instead, listings can be managed centrally and exported across marketplaces, reducing the need to repeat the same work over and over.
Better Target management
Target was one of the more difficult channels for Fine Fixtures to manage before Goflow. Today, the Target channel is set up and managed through Goflow, making what was previously a hassle much more straightforward.
The team can also see the information it needs from Target in one place.
Less manual work
The biggest impact for Fine Fixtures has been the reduction in repetitive work.
Before Goflow, even small changes had to be made separately across each marketplace. Now, the team can manage listings centrally and export them to its channels.
As the team puts it, the result is simply “less stress and an easier job.”
More confidence to scale
Goflow has also made Fine Fixtures more confident about adding channels and products.
The team says it has “definitely” changed how confidently they approach adding channels and SKUs.
That matters because marketplace growth shouldn't require the operational workload to grow at the same rate.
Scaling with Confidence
Fine Fixtures now has its listings set up in a way that makes managing multiple channels much easier.
With one export, the team can distribute listings across its marketplaces rather than recreating the same work on every channel.
That has made it easier to manage the company's growing marketplace presence and has given the team more confidence to continue expanding.
The Target integration is a particularly clear example.
What had previously been a hassle is now “really nice” and well set up, giving Fine Fixtures a much more manageable way to operate on the channel.
