The Company: About Jeannie N Mini LLC

Founded by Jeannie Yoon, Jeannie N Mini LLC is a kids boutique store in Orange County, California. When Yoon moved to the area from Australia in 2009, she noted a lack of baby boutiques in the area selling quality products and offering great service. She wanted to create an excellent shopping environment where parents could find a curated selection of high quality products, all in one place. 

In business for 12 years, the retail store operates in both brick-and-mortar and online form. The company has a unique setup, with a physical retail store (Jini Mini Boutique) and online stores such as www.jinimini.com, www.puttisu-usa.com and www.komuellousa.com

Around 4 years ago, they expanded into wholesale, exclusively distributing and marketing unique brands from Europe and Asia. Their product range covers everything from baby toys to toddlers shoes to beauty products, skincare and organic teas. 

With products available on multiple marketplaces, including Amazon, Nordstrom, Target and Macy’s, Jeannie N Mini LLC sells to both individual customers and other retail businesses. What started out as one store has grown to include various brands and channels from all over the world. 

The Challenges

“Before we started using Goflow, managing inventory across multiple channels was a significant challenge,” explains Jeannie Yoon. “We operated multiple Shopify stores, and our warehouse team had to manually go through each website throughout the day to process orders. This often led to inefficiencies, such as missing the processing deadline for orders with Express shipping requests.”

With separate inventories for each channel, it was difficult for the warehouse team to generate comprehensive reports and their inventory management strategy was inefficient. This process was particularly time-consuming during tax season, because they had to compile multiple reports to calculate inventory balances. 

Plus, Jeannie N Mini LLC sells many group items as gift sets, which require physical assembly and separate inventory management. Their approach was both inefficient and costly in terms of time spent and warehouse space. So, Jeannie was in search of a solution. 

“We needed an all-in-one solution that could handle inventory management across multiple warehouses and sales channels, including FBA, multi-brand operations, and e-commerce platforms. Additionally, we required a system that could manage purchase orders and group items efficiently. Cost was also a critical factor, as we were just starting up our wholesale operations and found that many software options were too expensive."

For Jeannie, what made Goflow stand out from other options was its ability to manage multiple aspects of the business seamlessly within one platform. This includes managing inventory across multiple warehouses, multi-brand management and integration with various e-commerce platforms. Previously, Jeannie N Mini LLC had been using multiple Shopify apps. These included Codisto for syncing inventory with Amazon, Stocky for creating purchase orders, receiving inventories and generating inventory reports and Group App for creating group items. 

In total, the fees for these apps added up to $220 per month. Now, Goflow replaces all of them, reducing costs by consolidating operations into one platform. 

For example, Goflow made it possible to create group items for gift sets without the need for physical assembly. This has saved the company both space and inventory costs.

“The process of setting up Goflow was impressively smooth, even with the complexity of our operations,” says Jeannie. “Unlike many other inventory management systems we reviewed, which required costly 'customized' setups and lengthy implementation times, Goflow was essentially plug-and-play.”

Jeannie N Mini LLC had over 10,000 SKUs when they started, yet it was still relatively easy to get everything set up on the platform. The ease of set-up was crucial for Jeannie N Mini LLC, especially since they were just starting their wholesale operations and needed a solution that would work right out of the box.

Jeannie has implemented numerous apps and software over the years for her business, but she said the customer support and guidance offered by Daniel Blum from Goflow was exceptional. 

“What really stood out was Daniel’s availability; I could send him text messages and get answers right away, even well after work hours on the East Coast, while we are based on the West Coast. His responsiveness made the entire process much less daunting. 

Unlike most apps that simply send instructions—which can be hard to follow, especially for non-technical people—Daniel really held our hands and led us through every step.”

“The best part is that I can check total daily sales across all channels each night before I go to bed,” explains Jeannie. “Previously, I had to navigate through multiple Shopify sites and individual channels to tally sales, which was not practical for daily monitoring. Now, it’s all at my fingertips on my phone, making it incredibly easy.”
